After fishing, remove the lamprees and clean them carefully. Rinse the lamprees with cold water. You can salt or smoke them to keep them longer. Smoked lampreys can be kept in the refrigerator for a few days. If you want to keep the lamprees longer, you can freeze them quickly. Enlighten them individually in aluminum foil or a freezing bag, and keep them in the freezer for six months maximum. Note that the lampreys have pointed teeth, so it is important to handle the fish carefully to avoid injuring yourself.
